Abigail Leigh Spencer, born August 4, 1981 is an American actress. Her fame was boosted by her roles in the drama show Rectify. She hails from Gulf Breeze, Florida. She began her acting career with the soap opera All My Children. The soap drama All My Children earned the actress an award by Soap Opera Digest for the best female newcomer. The next couple of years she was mostly a guest actor on a variety of TV programs. She received praise for the character she played in the show as Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. She slowly grew a large audience thanks to her amazing look and incredible acting talents. In the film Campfire Stones, she played in the role when she was just 20 years old. She has also appeared on Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks as well as other films.
